Overview
On the banks of a tributary to the Mississippi River, New Athens Fire Protection District (NAFPD) is a fully volunteer-led fire department of 40 team members. Servicing a rural town of only 65 square miles, NAFPD must be prepared with all response equipment on board as another vehicle may never arrive.
